Dear Grindle,
Many thanks for your telegram, which I received
today. The same point occurred to me immediately after
Paskin left, and I was rather at a loss to know what to
I was on the point, in fact, of telegraphing to
you about it. Your telegram has put things right. evolone copy of the article it is profacă to visert”,
ao.
I expect Paskin has informed you of what has
passed here and of the difficult situation which has
arisen with regard to Japan. The First Conference
meets again on Saturday afternoon (instead of on Friday
afternoon as originally arranged). I have not yet
heard what instructions the Japanese have received.
Yours sincerely,
Malcolm Delevreight
Sir Gilbert Grindle, K.C.H.G., C.B.
